Dream Weaver 03:57
I've just closed my eyes again Climbed aboard the dream weaver train Driver take away my worries of today And leave tomorrow behind Dream Weaver I believe you can get me through the night Dream weaver I believe we can reach the morning light Fly me high through the starry skies Maybe to an astral plane Cross the highway of fantasy Help me forget today's pain Dream Weaver I believe you can get me through the night Dream weaver I believe we can reach the morning light Though the dawn may be coming soon There still may be some time Fly me away to the bright side of the moon Meet me on the other side Dream weaver I believe you can get me through the night Dream weaver I believe we can reach the morning light Dream weaver Dream weaver

If you could capture a moment And see it face to face You could take hold of this moment Let it take you to another place Enjoy the ride but look in Time is the endless race The moment is gone forever Another takes it’s place I’ve been trapped in a frozen moment And this will just take time I can see through your eyes And I’m wondering, Can you see through mine? Behind my eyes one could sit Finding themself in a daze Thoughts get lost and they carry you away Flow away, flow away I’ve been trapped in a frozen moment And this will just take time I can see through your eyes And I’m wondering, Can you see through mine? If you could capture a moment And see it face to face Take hold of this moment Let it take you to another place Enjoy the ride but look in Time is the endless race The moment is gone forever Another takes it’s place I’ve been trapped in a frozen moment And this will just take time I can see through your eyes And I’m wondering, Can you see through mine?

Show your affection Make your impression Feel my obsession Show your affection It’s not the time It’s not the time To get your way It’s not the time It’s not the time There’s no question There is affection Feel the connection Know your obsession The truth can sometimes hurt you When you keep it inside You say it’s not the time When you know it’s a lie It’s not the time It’s not the time It’s not the time To get your way It’s not the time It’s not the time It’s not the time

I don’t know why it builds inside of me Takes my time It’s always growing underneath Strap me down I’ll do a thing when I am free I hear those voices to be or not to be Whispers in the night Makes me want to fight Let’s me see the light Whispers in my ear Tell me that I’m here Wakes me in the night All he wants is to be a man, To be a success , can’t you understand? He has the signs of a modern king Could handle himself and anything It’s all in front and he knows what to do Has a gift only given to a few Whispers in the night Makes me want to fight Let’s me see the light Whispers in my ear Tell me that I’m here Wakes me in the night Whispers in the night Makes me want to fight Let’s me see the light Whispers in my ear Tell me that I’m here Wakes me in the night Whispers in the night Makes me want to fight Let’s me see the light

about

The year was 1990. Grunge had not yet metastasized the entirety of alternative radio and it was still in the glory days of Electronic/Synth-Pop. Depeche Mode, New Order, and Erasure had solidified the format to ears all over the world and Texas was no exception. San Antonio based Passing Strangers, inspired by this sound and a widening fanbase created their first EP Moment In Time. The first release from that work was a synth pop/electronic dance version of Gary Wright's 1976 hit "Dream Weaver." This remake quickly received heavy airplay on radio and "spins" from DJ's in dance clubs across Texas and the U.S.. This helped to establish Passing Strangers as a well-known anomaly to a generation of San Antonians and a name to many in Texas and around the world.
